One year ago today I adopted my little partner in crime, and now I can’t imagine life without him. There are so many animals out there in need of a loving home. If you’re thinking about getting a pet, contact your local shelters or use www.petfinder.com to help an animal who needs you.

When I adopted Jagger, he had kennel cough, mange, mites, and fleas. After about three weeks of medication (supplied by the shelter I got him from, I might add) he was on the mend, and now he’s about the happiest, healthiest dog I’ve ever met. If a 25 year old girl living in New York City can afford to save a pup, so can you! And if your experience is anything like mine, you’ll never regret it.
